Our attempt at making beetroot cake (yes beetroot, with pumpkin seeds too) was ... sort of a success. It tastes good ... but looks, ummmmmm, a little special. I think the trick is to mix the beetroot in at the end, so that it's not the entire cake that turns purple!! Haha, well at least our flatmates will stay clear from this one, more for us.
