For my birthday this year we went up to Alnmouth for the day. This is one of the most wonderful places. We walked along the beach for a few hours. It was cold and beautiful. Then we had a proper pub diner at my favourite pub. Had a great day and felt completely spoiled to be able to do this for my birthday!
