Folky Fiddle Fun

Next year, starting in January, I'll be taking fiddle lessons at the Sage, in Gateshead. I'm oh-so very excited about this. Since taking an afternoon of ukulele, I've been craving to learn a new instrument. And what better instrument than the fiddle! It's small, not too expensive, and if I get tired of playing folky music, I can always switch to classical violin lessons. The classes take place every Tuesday for 3 months. It's a group lesson, which is fun. And afterwards, there is a band session for beginners: I'll learn how to play partitions and how bands learn and work together. And hopefully meet some interesting people. Great way to start the New Year!
