Richard and I spent 3 weeks in southern France in the lovely company of Dennis and Margaret. Really enjoyed spending some quiet time there before jumping into our moving country phase. The weather was extremely hot and dry for most of the time. This was my third time there and two things hit me every time: how good it smells and how beautiful the light is. All in all a very relaxing 3 weeks.
We went to Carpentras for the obligatory desert at Jouvaud.
We had a fantastic diner of mussels with music in a town square.
We had fun walking around and talking photos.
And best of all we enjoyed a day boat trip to Arles from Avignon. The food was delicious.

Thank you Dennis and Margaret for hosting us! We had a great 3 weeks and we miss you.
